Preserving and Sharing Your Legacy Documents
Once you have written your personal legacy documents, you will want to preserve then in a way that will stand the test of time. Regular paper and ink will deteriorate and fade with time, so you may want to consider other options. I can work with you directly to assist you through the steps provided in partnership through Celebration of Life's professional preservation team.
Approach #1: Do it yourself.
Use our preservation supplies to print or hand-write your legacy document on hand-painted archival paper, protected by an embossed archival folder. Our Gift Packs include all of the necessary supplies, or purchase folders and archival paper as needed. Or consider A Legacy to Remember Protective Binder.
Approach #2: Have us create a professionally crafted legacy keepsake for you.
Simply email us the text of your legacy document and any photos you would like to include. We’ll provide a custom quote for designing and printing the legacy keepsake of your choice. All options below can be tailored for Ethical Wills/Legacy Letters, Life Reflection stories, Making a Difference Plans, or a personal creation.
Choose any of the following legacy keepsake options:
A. Legacy Folder: Professionally designed, 8.5×11 inch pages, hand painted ivy on archival paper, full-color in a keepsake folder with your favorite photos and personal legacy content (specify Ethical Will//Legacy Letter, Life Reflection Story or Making a Difference Plan). Pricing starts at $60 for two designed pages with photo and folder. Custom sizes are available. Order additional copies for all your loved ones and friends, starting at $25 each.
B. Legacy Wall or Desktop Display: Professionally designed full-color, photo-quality pages with UV protection are frame ready for your wall or desk. Sizes range from 8×10 inches and larger with your favorite photos and personal legacy content. Pricing starts at $75 for the first designed page with photo. Custom sizes, design options, editing services and solid oak frames are available. Order additional copies for all your loved ones and friends, starting at $25 each.
C. Legacy Hardcover Book: Professionally designed, 8×8 inch, full-color keepsake book with your favorite photos and personal legacy content. Pricing starts at $200 for 20 designed pages, cover image, and up to 12 photos. Custom sizes, design options and editing services are available. You may order additional copies for family and friends.
D. Life Stories / Memoirs: Our writers, editors, and designers are available to work with you in a variety of ways to produce an extensive custom life story or memoir of up to 200 pages.
